You do not need a complete technical brief before contacting d-labs. A little background on the product, problem and outcome you are trying to achieve is usually enough for us to start the conversation.

Tell us what type of detergent or cleaning product you are working with and whether it is a new concept, existing formulation or commercial product.
The objective
Tell us what you are trying to achieve — for example, developing a new product, improving performance, reducing cost, benchmarking against competitors, supporting a claim or resolving a technical problem.
What you already know
Include any useful background such as current formulation status, benchmark products, previous testing, known limitations or performance targets.
Timing or constraints
